double page spread analysis

For my double page spread i kept a simple layout as there is a large amount of text, by keeping a simple layout it makes the text easier to read as it appears to be less as its split into columns. I used the same style font and colour heading as the front cover and contents to create a link between the pages. i then used large and simple images to break up the appearance of the amount of text, also giving the reader a picture to look at which i personally think is more appealing

contents analysis

with my contents page i went for a slightly more complicated layout as it needed to contain a lot of information. i chose a white background as the text would contrast strongly making it easy to read. I then added lines to separate the text making it easy to follow and making it to appear uncomplicated

front cover analysis

for my magazine front cover i tried to design a modern looking magazine with a different appearance as to what magazine are in production. the main colour i chose to contrast against the back ground of the magazine is purple, this is because i wanted it to catch the eye on appearance. My magazine consists of a fairly simple layout and grid structure as i didn't want the cover to look over complicated.

heading analysis

The heading of my magazine contrasts well against the lighter background. for the text i used a dark colour and a mottled effect as to make it more appealing to the eye, also making it look slightly modernized. I chose a big and bold font as to make the heading apparent and to stand out above the rest of the text on the cover
